Heather selected smooth white layered invitations designed with her favorite verse on the left and her wording on the right, raised printed in blue ink. A blue grosgrain ribbon was wrapped around the invitation before it was attached to a black linen back card and finished with a sheer silver ribbon tied into a decorative knot. Smooth white envelopes printed with her return address were included.
